I'm a veteran who was healthy but then I started urinating blood so I went to the ER. I got a CT scan and I found out that I had a 11cm tumor on my left kidney. I wasn't registered with the VA at the time but I had to have a surgery to remove the cancerous tumor and kidney. Now they are garnishing my wages taking over $200 a week and leaving me with very little to survive on. This will continue until I pay off the four thousand dollar debt I owe to them.
My father in law is going to court tomorrow to try to dispute this shit- but really yeah just shameless scamming he has quite literally 100% disability and coverage- when he had the procedure he had 90% (THREE YEARS AGO which is clearly a pattern) but he got no bill he got no confirmation etc. These type of doctors take advantage of disabled and older generations who don’t have access to research these things before going in. I apparently received services from them for a procedure I had in November 2025. I didn't realize that because I never received a bill. What I did finally receive was a hand typed, nondescript letter, no letterhead, threatening lawyers, court, and attorney fees. The balance in question? $44.73. Seems excessive. They could probably settle most of these balances by 1) sending people a statement or 2) picking up a phone. Man this place is awesome! My children love coming here every morning and having a look at the fish, and buying chocolate bars at the register. I loved this place too myself because of the amazing staff, cozy interior, and comfortable seating.
