I love the doctors here. They are competent, thorough and most importantly, prompt. But it is like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phone. It should not take 2 days, three phone calls and an email just to get someone to call me back with information they already have. I don't feel comfortable with an unresponsive staff at a medical clinic.
I really don’t understand why it takes almost two hours after the appointment time to see the doctor. Every time I have an annual visit it takes this long. Why even bother scheduling an appointment? Everyone’s time is valuable.
I have had exceptional care by Dr Angus and the other doctors in the practice. I continue to see him because he is my favorite and has been there with me and taken care of me through some tough moments in my pregnancies and deliveries. Beyond babies, he and his nurses have taken care of me over the years with any problems that have popped up and for that, thank you!!
I am so thankful every day for the doctors at AWS. They have seen me through joyous times and heartbreaking times and treated me with so much kindness and respect through all of it that I recommend my doctors to all of my friends. They treat their patients like family.
If you are going here as an OB patient, make sure you read the book (that you are given 2 minutes prior to testing) to understand what tests you will be given. They aren't going to ask you for your consent, nor will they care to mention that it is even in the book (that you get 2 minutes prior to testing). So if you see a nice bill come through that states testing you didn't even know you received, be prepared to pay a healthy sum because your insurance might not cover a dime since they consider the test "unnecessary." Dr. Dawson was my favorite personally. He delivered my daughter after a horrible experience with another doctor and delivery at kennestone with my first born. I saw him throughout my pregnancy and Dr Johnson is equally as great for anyone who prefers to see a female doctor over a male doctor
