I would not recommend this practice based on my personal experience. At my initial visit, Dr. Barnett diagnosed me with CCCA based on a visual examination. I was told that she sees this condition frequently and that it is common among African American women. No scalp biopsy was performed before I was given the diagnosis and began receiving steroid injections. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Barnett office. From the front office to my visit, I was well taken care of and feel I am in excellent hands for my skin’s medical needs. She provides exemplary care.

I saw Dr Elise Barnett today for a skin screen. It was a fantastic experience with no wait to walk in aside from signing the forms. Once I was in the room, Dr Barnett quickly did a thorough skin exam and answered all my questions along the way. I did elect to remove 2 cherry angionomas and they were ready with all the details on pricing and my insurance costs. We finished up with skincare recommendations. Great experience and would send my friends and family to this office!

I can’t say enough great things about my dermatologist! She always takes the time to truly listen to my concerns, addresses everything thoroughly, and goes above and beyond to make sure I’m getting the best care possible. I really appreciate that she doesn’t just offer a one-size-fits-all solution—she takes my individual needs into consideration and always recommends the best options for me. I always leave feeling heard, taken care of, and confident. She also has a beautiful office.
