I had a hip replacement by him. Didn’t go great. But the kicker is that I am now going for a knee replacement... not by him. Did you know that you can correct your leg length discrepancy during a hip replacement? I didn’t. The new doctor, Dr Gaunder, routinely screens for that. Did ManFredi screen for that? No he did not! Gaunder does it as standard practice but guess what? It’s too late. I already had my hip replacement. Thanks, Dr Manfredi.
Dr Manfredi did a knee replacement for me around 2015, it was amazing not a single problem for 18 months. I had a unrelated surgery then which led to staph infection in my knee which led to three more surgeries on the knee. Now that knee is giving me serious trouble. And I still want Dr Manfredi he left Athens Orthopedic Clinic and all I was told was that he went to Atlanta. I researched and found him I'm going to call him this morning I still trust no one more than him!
Dr. Manfredi and the staff at AOC could not have provided more friendly, comfortable, yet professional, environs. Dr. Manfredi himself is beyond excellent. Clearly extremely competent and experienced, but not a hint of arrogance. Could not have had a better experience (unless perhaps by offering free coffee and donuts!).
Dr Manfredi is nothing short of a miracle worker! My husband had a severe motorcycle accident 42 years, leaving his lower left leg mangled and shorter than the right one. Not only did Dr Manfredi replace his left knee but he was able to straighten his lower leg and relieve the excessive length discrepancy. We are beyond thrilled! Thank God for this amazing surgeon!
