My AC company wanted to charge me $700 to repair a flexible AC duct in the crawl space that had come apart. Instead, I spent $15 at Atco for a collar and $2 at a hardware store for zip ties (I already had aluminum HVAC tape). It took me about 20 minutes to do the repair and I saved myself $683! I checked on it a month later, the join seems strong, and the air is coming out of the vent forcefully. Thank you Atco! Brought my condenser fan motor into the store and was sold a new one. When the hvac guy came to install it I was told it was the wrong one for a few reasons. I called and talked to the owner and was going to see if I could swap it out but we couldn't even get to that point of the conversation because he started getting angry and just said "well" and hung up on me. Now I'm stuck with a fan motor that won't work and have to find another one. Won't shop here again.
