Absolutely disgusting. Employees not wearing masks. The knee scooter I rented was covered in hair and dirt and had to be completely wiped down to clean and sanitize. I felt like I needed a shower when I left the store.
They need equipment that works. Hospice families have enough issues without equipment failure. over & over again. When they deliver equipment & have to borrow plyers to get oxygen on, you know it's crap! Customer service acts like customer is to stupid to operate the equipment.
Shane and Mike @ AHHE on Emerson Ave are the absolute best. They took care of all our needs and in a timely manner. I even recommended to a Family member for a lift chair rental needed for surgery. Thank you Shane and Mike. God Bless, From Linda and Shawn
My friend recently died from you repoing her equipment! She was 46 years old and on disability. She left behind 3 children and a husband .
The pricing they submit to your insurance company is 4 times what they will sell it to you without insurance for. Your insurance company then will apply their adjusted pricing which is higher than what they will sell it to you over the counter without insurance. Spoke with customer service manager about this issue and was told they charge that amount to the insurance because they can. It is retail. $114.90 charged to insurance. Insurance said should be no more than $78. Purchase part over the counter without insurance for $3... read more
I put in an oxygen refill order for my grandmother (who had 3 hours left on her tank when I ordered) and they didn't deliver it. Instead of calling my phone back(which was the number left with this order) they called her facility and spoke with the KITCHEN help who told them it was to late for them to deliver oxygen. I left my phone number 3 times with them in one day but they called a different number and didn't deliver.
My first experience with A.H.H.E. goes way back to the beginning of the company. I worked in a therapy department at a local nursing home. They were always so kind and helpful. As time went on, I used them for equipment for my Grandmother and the my Mother. The staff has always been so helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It's no wonder they have been in business for 20+ years.
