This repair shop didn't answer my appt. Call on 3/10. And here the store was closed for good. They could have posted a message to tell potential customers that. This didn't rate even 1 star! Waste of mine time.
They were attentive to my needs and even took the phone back to check a different issue I faced, free of charge. Would do business again. Edit: Mike was especially attentive the second time I came in. He completed the backup from an old phone with a blacked out screen to a new one. While backing up the phone, he actually ended up fixing the old one as well. That was awesome - now I have a working backup phone.
The associate was friendly, but that is the only positive. Referred here by Google as an authorized service center. Store did not have the parts 8 needed. According to her, this location 'doesnt order parts'. Not quite sure how effective their business model is if they don't have anything to sell. Was referred to 2 other locations. I asked if she could verify their inventory. She could not. Ended up shipping back to manufacturer for repair. Store is a great idea on paper, but lacks in execution.
UPDATE in response to their generic response: all you need to know is in their response. The management knows full well who I am and the steps I took to escalate this issue with various 1-800 numbers and yet they're offering me to call another one. From this point on I will be going to a different UBreakIFix store that is 30-40 minutes drive for me vs coming to this one. I don't care to recall my entire story with this store but suffice it to say that another store came through for me twice in the past few years where this one failed. I will mention that the failure to provide adequate service was not entirely the store staffs fault as there were some backend issues with the IT system between Asurion/UBreakIFix and my wireless provider (that's the story I got from both... read more
