One of the best experiences I have had in health care. Absolutely no pain during the procedure, and, one day post op very ,very little discomfort. I did not realize how uncomfortable my foot had become until Dr. Karas performed the procedure. Quick, responsive health care. Dr. Karas is a 12 out of 10 in office staff, beside manner, and competency.
My favorite experience with Dr. Karas was when two medical experts had me walking funny on my foot long ago, insisting that I had dried gangrene in my big toe. "Nope," insisted Dr. Karas: "Your pulse is too good for that: as good--if not better--than my own. It's dried blood. That's all." He got out an electric file, went "Buzz, buzz, buzz," and it was all as good as new. While other alarmists fueled my hypochondria, in just a few seconds, he added a calm perspective and restored my gait.
