I went to Associated Building Material to order some pavers and this guy, the name of Henry Gomez approached me with his business card and he said, I do pavers and the young man behind the counter vouch for him and he said he is a good worker and very nice person.So, I wanted to pave my front yard and I called him. Good guys that will help you and have a lot available. Worth the time to stop they had a lot more the. I thought they would.
They quoted me $1.80 a brick over the phone and when I got there, it was $2.60 a brick. Pricing was more expensive than Thompson Building Supply in Lomita. Workers on the lot were helpful and loaded my car. They did not want to negotiate price even though they did not quote me the right price. If I knew they were going to double the price I would not have drove all the way to get the bricks.
