Just completed having cataract surgery in both eyes. The experience was great, and the surgeries very successful. I'm looking forward to no longer needing distance vision correction. An excellent practice!
In 2006 I had intraocular lens replacement with Dr. Kerry Assil in Beverly Hills. Check up visit today with Dr. Martindale in Westlake Village and I am still seeing better than 20/20. Dr. Martindale said "Kerry really knocked it out of the ballpark for you" Indeed he did, and I am eternally grateful!
Dr. Assil performed Lasik on me 19 years ago. Dr. May confirmed during my recent appointment that I still have 20-15 vision in both eyes. Dr. Assil also performed Lasik on my wife Lisa 16 years ago and has served many others we've referred since. We moved to Oregon in 2005 and remain patients of Assil Eye to this day and will forever be grateful for the care we receive from Dr. Assil and his staff!
In addition to being a true expert in his field and an icon in a geographic location otherwise saturated with doctors, Dr. Assil is a genuinely nice man and very personable. He cares deeply about his patients and works compassionately to restore their health and wellbeing.
