They have great staff; doctors, nurses, housekeepers, etc. If you ever live in the Lakeland area or near the Lakeland Area, Howard Young Medical Center have great staff!
Dr Swift and the ER staff are the best! Had my daughter (and mom 😉) completely at ease!
a provider here made me sit and wait almost 3 hours to be told they couldnt do anything for an infected toe. knowing they couldnt do anything for me they made me sit in a room for almost 3 hours so they could bill me instead of just telling me from the get go. now its been 45 minutes as we speak since they went to go get my release forms they arent even giving me antibiotics so whats taking so long. NO ONES in here!
Was sent home plenty of times cause "nothing was going on" and because I'm native I've been treated like crap or just assumed I was looking for a hand out for pain meds. By the time they finally admitted me I ended by up having to have surgery, was in a lot of pain after nothing done to help with comfort. Doctor was asshole along with my night nurse in ICU. Made complaints to supervisor and still nothing done. Next time I will be traveling elsewhere other than here
We are thankful that we have had 2 really excellent experiences at Howard Young! The birthing center was a-mazing. As a first time mom I was very well taken care of with great nurses, the two that were the most wonderful that I got to work with...were Tonya and Polly ��. It went way above my expectations. Thankful for Dr. T and the best epidural guy “Dave” as well. Just used the emergency room service and we met with Dr. Marsan- he was the very best doctor we’ve ever worked with! Absolutly amazing birthing staff. They really made me feel comfortable all 3 times. My doctors who delivered my babies were great. The best was Arnold. Very understanding and calm. The nurses are amazing. We really should get to know them before delivery. They are the rocks of labor and after care. Thanks for the care.
