Great food, great drinks and relaxing hanging around the fireplace. My wife and I have a regular date night here. Everyone is kind and friendly.
My husband's dinner: Minuscule, ridiculously thin, over cooked steak, GREY 1/4 inch thick crab cake, My dinner: Trout that was so over cooked it was crunchy, with a side that was insultingly sparse. My daughters dinner: burger with burnt bacon. My other daughter's dinner: $35 for a SMALL steak with nothing; no seasoning, no sides, nothing- ridiculous. My Father's dinner: Dry meatloaf. Went for my dad's birthday and everything was a disappointment!! Hamburger was dry and bacon probably could have turned to dust My dads Surf and Turf must have come from Krogers manager specials. His steak was 1/4 inch thick and dry, his crab cake grey!!! When we asked about the grey crab cake they went back to check and came back and informed us "yes it's grey and will be 20 minutes or so to make new" Why was it grey to start??? Not a fan of Aspens, from my experience I they're over priced and over rated. Top dollar prices for Pocket change results. Not a fan at all...
Service sucked, they were out of the steak I desired, we were seated in a booth, after I requested a table. I will never return. Oh, and the food we did receive was not that good.
The food was good, however our waiter rushed our Birthday Dinner by serving our dinner before we even had a chance to finish our appetizer.
My wife and I had a great time and great food. Our server was the top of the line.
