I found this sight because I want to move back to Aspen Village. I lived there for 4 years, but I was transferred away. I am being sent back to Vacaville, and I am going to try to get back to Aspen Village. It is not a luxury place, but it is very nice & everything works like it is supposed to. Maintenance items are fixed quickly. You may have to leave a second car on the street, but your first car will park in a gated parking lot. Some spots are covered. I haven't been able to find anything half as good for the price.
My wife and I moved to Aspen Village in 2004 and decided to move out after 7 plus years because of noise problems, (especially the managers dog) and aggressive neighbors. One lady that parks next to me, scratched the door of my car several times with her car door, when I asked her (nicely) to do me the favor and be more careful when opening her car door, she decided to escalate the situation and put a nasty scratch (obviously done on purpose) on my car. Lived here for almost 4 years and can not think of once nice thing to say. Nothing ever gets fixed, apartments are extremely badly insulated. Parking is horrible to non-existent. Theft and vandalism happens far to often (usually auto). The apartment manager Donna is quite an unpleasant and unhelpful women. This one is definitely a pass, keep looking.
