Whether you're an Ethiopian food buff or a neophyte, Asmara will come as a pleasant surprise. The food is classic Ethiopian, with excellent tebsy (pan roasted strips of beef), ketfo (chopped beef tenderloin with cottage cheese), and, of course, the ubiquitous injera (a flat, spongy bread used to pick up food in lieu of silverware). I love this place. I was introduced by my cousin and brought my whole family back to enjoy their delicious food. The art work and cultural experience is something I will hold dearly to my heart. You get great size portions and the best service ever. I felt very welcomed and the food is definitely made with love. This will definitely be one of many times we will visit!
