Very bad experience - went in and was told about the problem - he then said an x-ray needs to be done even though he was told it was already done and the files were provided before the appt. He insisted so it was done and charged then was told it was not his speciality and so will refer to another doctor. This 100% should have been obvious before visiting and before doing a second scan and charging for it - would definitely not recommend.
I had a knee replacement by Dr Shah in August I continue to have significant pain I need a cane to walk I saw him for the last time today He told me everything is good B.S.
I had images (X-rays and MRI's) on bilateral hips and was told the hips were fine aside from some arthritis. I was informed that the MRI was not correct and that because I am only 50yrs old, I do not need surgery. I was also told that Englewood hospital does not have robotics to perform hip surgery anyway, even if it was required. According to two different doctors who work in the OR at Englewood, one of which is a family member of mine, they do indeed have the robotics and that they are used for hip surgeries. Dr. Shah... my vet spends more time with my dog then Dr. Shah spent with me!!! No communication and absolutely no bed side manner. Done....
Last August 2025, my mother underwent total knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Asit Shah. After God, we are truly grateful to him for his professionalism, kindness, and empathy. Our first appointment with him was at the end of May, and since then, the treatment we received from Dr. Shah and his team has been exceptional.
