Dr. Taqi SAVED MY LIFE!! He is an exceptional Dr. with a great bedside manner. The level of care provided by Dr. Taqi went well above and beyond. I am truly grateful
He was attentive to my wife following her stroke (visiting her in her hospital room after 10 pm). Subsequently, Dr. Taqi clearly explained the angiogram and endovascular coiling procedure to my wife and I. He came to me after the angiogram/coiling to show me before and after X-ray images of the aneurysm. He also made several visits to my wife while she was recovering in the ICU. Without exception, the nursing staff had only good things to say about him. That was encouraging for my wife (and me).
On October 20, 2016,I had an acute stroke in the Central Coast and was airlifted to Dr. Taqi at Thousand Oaks. His skill and decisionmaking saved muchof my brain function and within weeks I was transferred to Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital where I received extensive/intensive rehab therapy. I am currently preparing to return to work in August after completing in-patient and outpatient therapy.
