I visited Dr. Cothern May of 2008. The dental hygienist spent about 2 hours with me. 2 hours later she told me that I needed a deep cleaning which would cost me about 1,500.00. I knew right away that was not what I needed and that this office was just out to get money from people. I have a friend who is a dental hygienist and I gave her my numbers from the plaque/tarter test. She was shocked that they said I needed a deep cleaning. She said my numbers were low and normal.
