Each person I come in contact with at West Asheville Family Dentistry is welcoming, professional, and truly concerned about my well-being. They provide excellent dental care and have true concern for your dental health. I have been a patient for many years.
Like many others, I have a bit of a fear of dentists and dentistry and all things teeth. In the past I’ve gone years without a checkup because of this aversion. However, the dental hygienist Tracey has always been so gentle yet thorough (and always so kind and hilarious) that I always leave this office wondering “Maybe it’s time to leave my fear of dentists behind!” I most likely never will, but Tracey and Dr. Townsend make it much easier to come back on schedule :)
If I could give them more stars I would! After a bad experience at a previous dental office I was looking for a new office to call home and little did I know that I would find one ever greater than I imagined! The entire staff was as friendly and as helpful as anyone could be. They were down to earth, knowledgeable and caring as well. I am very thankful to have found this office, makes me excited to go to the dentist for the first time in my life!

Hugentist did a great time providing flossing education to Daughter, age 9. Dentist & hygentist engaged her appropriately & professionally.

Excellent care & wonderful staff I had a routine cleaning with Katherine, and the service and bedside manner was outstanding. It turned what could be considered a chore into a joy, and the dentist was kind, informative and clear. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
