RecommendedFirst time at the Ashby Inn for dinner tonight. Excellent service and fantastic food. Husband had his first beef wellington and both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
Outstanding dinner! The beef Wellington melted in your mouth! Bread pudding to die for. Wonderful service with friendly servers who make you feel at home in this historic old establishment

We’ve been to the Ashby Inn twice now. Everything is just amazing - the gardens, the food (absolutely incredible), the wine, the room (we stayed in the Fan room) and the staff. I cannot say enough! My husband and I highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! I strongly recommend the Prosciutto/Burrata app, Shrimp & Grits entree, strawberry confit dessert. The service was pretty fantastic and the view was amazing. I have 4 stars instead of 5 because of the lag time in between courses as a result of a busy kitchen. I know the Sous Chef has taken the Executive position for now and am certain with time they will make improvements in timing!

We stay there a couple days. the staff was wonderful. location was very assessable to wineries, stores, and nearby towns. The rooms were wonderful with a private porch, bath and a view of Hillside. It was a nice romantic getaway . They have their own chef breakfast was wonderful they also serve dinners.
