Twice I took my dad to Ascension St Thomas ER and we waited almost 7hours before they finally got him a room! I asked them if they could tell me what took so long and they said they were waiting for a room to come available. So as we are finally going to his room, I looked in each room and half were empty?! That’s weird…Then after my dad was finally getting well we kept working with a lady(from the hospital)that was telling us she was waiting on his insurance and couldn’t release him, she was waiting on the nursing facility ... read more
Ok update I gave the wrong rating I just wanted to have a vice the hospital is I good place just understaffed and there stress there alot of good people here has to be to put up with me sometimes

Bad experience staff walks around with a bad attitude (not all there are some good people here) like that's what a patient needs who is sick or hurting even if "I" had a bad attitude or mad you as a doctor or staff shouldn't give one back .. there's to many doctors telling you to many things there needs to be one doctor focusing on you not 10 they get confused on what one is doing one minute I'm going home the next your staying ..the staff that make the food don't now what to do cuz there to many doctors saying what you can... read more
In February of this year I was taken by ambulance to St. Thomas, due to what was discovered 4 days later at Stonecrest Hospital. I was placed in a wheelchair upon arrival because I was unable to move or walk on my own. While I sat in the waiting room, crying in pain, I witnessed several people walking in of their own volition and being taken back to rooms because they had runny noses and coughs.
