My sweet mama passed away two days ago due to dementia. The illness was lengthy. The level of care from their staff was extraordinary and deeply comforting as our family navigated her illness. Several staff cared for mom the entire time--nearly two years--and grew deeply attached to her. The nurses, chaplain, music therapist, and social workers communicated with me with each visit, so I always knew what was happening. I'm so thankful for their care and dedication.
I would highly recommend Ascend for any family. They took care of both of my parents in their final months. They always explained care plans and answered any questions we had during these difficult times.
