I have been employed at AMV for 16 years- I have had 2 family members in their care- the quality of the care, cleanliness, food and compassion are first rate.
I am very proud to serve as the Administrator for the Wilson Health Care Center. This is a special place to live, rehab, and work.
Wife was in rehab which did not go well. Didn't clean vomit up, rude tech, minimal PT, poor care. Moved to Asbury Solomans which was better.
I have been living at Asbury for one year now. I think this is terrific - I wish I had come a few years earlier. After one year, I find that my days are full, and I haven't even tried all the activities yet that I would like to try. The opportunities are great. I chose Asbury from the many choices of communities mostly because of the food, and the food has been excellent. The staff takes good care of us, and they are genuinely interested in our well-being. Keep it up, Asbury!
Very nice place and beautiful park like setting, however it's a shame they are stopping the Sunday buffet in Crawford and Hefner dining rooms. We come down about two hours on Sunday to visit a family member and it was nice to enjoy the Sunday buffet with her. Many residents looked forward to that and many came over from assisted living to enjoy a nice dinner on Sunday. I understand it is being stopped due to food waste and costs.
