RecommendedJust performed music here for a birthday celebration. The main building & grounds are beautiful & the facilities impressive: Beautiful Theater, Large Banquet Room, Pool & Exercise Facility. Everything needed for an active retirement community.
Both of my parents have stayed at Wilson Healthcare at Asbury. They were on the first floor TCU Unit.. The Physical Therapy is great. My mother on one of her many visits, could not sit up by herself when she first arrived. Within a few days of PT, OT, she was making progress. We kept saying babysteps.. She became strong enough to have her procedure taken care of. I could thank each person individually but this review would be pages.. I couldn't be happier with the TCU Unit.. I will regret the decision to put my dad here for the rest of my life. There are some good people working in the Wilson Center, but overall, the patients are ignored, except when they need meals or meds or changing. If you have an aging parent with health problems, research nursing homes now, so you don’t have to make a snap decision in the middle of a bad situation.
I left a three-bedroom condo on Clearwater Beach, FL, with a view of the Gulf of Mexico plus an apt. in Greenwich Village, NYC, with a view of the Empire State Bldg.for a 2 bedroom Wallace apt with a view of the parking lot of Sears and Macy's, and I have never been happier! I am busy every minute of the day and night. I have dozens of new friends who are well-traveled, well-educated, and fun to be with.
