Service and beer selection can't be beat. Prepare to wait a while if you walk in during rush times. Its very festive and the band is great.
At Asbury Park Festhalle & Biergarten today with Joan and Bob. Generous portions of good German food, beers both branded and their own, plus wines & a full bar...and a live band! I shall return!

Had a ball. Great polka band infused with some rock,metal,jazz,etc. Unique and good and beer and food great.
I had a couple cocktails with my son yesterday. The drinks were great but the service was even better. We were on the rooftop. I’m an idiot and I can’t remember her name. What a sweet heart.
The food was great, the beer excellent and the server friendly and helpful!
We went with my 77 year old Mother, our initial wait was to be 30 mins but the hostess saw my Mother and said she would seat us right away. That was so thoughtful. Food was excellent and service was great too. Waiter made recommendations for selections of beers based on our likes. Totally enjoyed our night
Always friendly employees and a happy crowd (of course, right?). Great selection of beers and the German food is fantastic. Highly recommend.
Good food and service, if you are not in a hurry. Nice not to be rushed and to have time to enjoy the atmosphere. Can get quite noisy, no place to talk business or contacts, but there are plenty of places for that.
