I can't say enough about the great service I received from Alvin. He totally explained what the problem was and what repairs he would be making. I left my car on Monday and picked it up on Wednesday! He's honest and he makes you feel like you are his only customer! He is the best of the best!

Alvin is the best! He saved me a ton of money where an unscrupulous individual could have ripped me off. He's very helpful over the phone as well. And he's open on Saturdays. Even though it's a drive for us to get to him, it's worth it. We are so happy that our Mini has found a wonderful place to be serviced.

If you are new to LA and have no idea who to trust or where to go- I HIGHLY recommend A's Garage. You won't regret it!

I had to work but because the location is not near where I was, he worked with me to get my car after hours and waited until I got there despite it being much later than closing time. He also will text you if you prefer instead of calling as sometimes playing phone tag can be annoying and difficult but I was able to communicate via text message so we could be in communication about the car without having to interrupt work or play phone tag and delay the process of getting things fixed.

In addition, to his prices being completely fair - or even better than fair, but he took the time to explain each thing that was wrong so I understood, explained how long I had to get the things I didn't get fixed right away, and kept me abreast of all the things he was doing as he fixed them.

Alvin’s prices are very good and he makes sure that he does quality work. In my situation, I had just moved and taken my car to fix one thing at a certified dealer and they told me I had much more that needed to be done immediately. I had just moved and had a ton of other expenses and just didn't have the money to do it all. Alvin worked with me and was completely honest about all the work, and told me what had to be done right away, and what could wait to help me out. Extremely honest mechanic that has gone above and beyond my expectations every visit. I don't live near this location and it is out of the way for me, however, I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else in SoCal.
