Let me be the first to say that the experience at A's Garage is by far one of the best experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. It's a small shop but Alvin Isidro took the time to look at my 2002 X5 driver’s side door that didn't open and a window that didn't role up. Alvin diagnosed the problem, took pictures of the failed parts and put a temporary fix till the parts came in the next day. The next day, I was in and out within 3 hours.

My search for an honest mechanic is OVER! I am so thankful to have met Alvin. He is the greatest! I have been without the use of my 328i convertible top for almost as long as I've owned the car (I bought it used), have taken it to numerous other shops (including McKenna BMW - what a rip-off!) and no one could get it working. A 5 minute conversation with Alvin and a day working on the top and bam! It was fixed! Thank you Alvin! You have a customer for life!

I have taken my mini cooper here twice and Alvin not only follows up with me in a timely manner, he even answers questions I have about my car off the clock :) This garage offers a great service, great work at a great price!!

Alvin showed me everything and explained everything in detail. He even drove the car after it was fixed for 40 miles to make sure that the engine light did not go back on. I picked my car this morning and everything was done perfectly and smoothly. he even replaced my light that was out and fixed my tire pressure for free. I am more than impressed and satisfied. I paid 588 dollars, and I am truly grateful I found him. If you have a BMW I strongly encourage you to call him. He is really the best BMW mechanic I have ever been ... read more

Let me start off by saying that if there were 10 stars id give Alvin 11. He is just truly amazing. I failed my smog test on a newer BMW X3; my check engine was on. I went to my old mechanic and he found 3 things that were wrong with it and gave me an absurd estimate of 1500 dollars. I had a feeling something was wrong with the estimate so I found Alvin through yelp. "I went in fearing my A/C compressor on my 2007 mini was shot. Alvin and I spoke on the phone and he told me to bring it in to take a look at it. He greeted me with a handshake and a smile, looked under the hood and discovered it was simply a free-on recharge that was needed. I went to 2 shops before and they both claimed it was my A/C compressor that needed fixing. ($1,400 job) BUT, Alvin assessed the situation, found the problem and I was out of the garage in 20 minutes and spent $15."

This is a great place I had a minor issue with them and they corrected it right away a lot cheaper than dealer highly recommend this place to anyone who has a BMW

Best Mechanic. Alvin and his staff are courteous, professional, and his prices are extremely reasonable. I was taking my pre-owned 530i wagon to a "specialist" in South Pasadena. Every visit cost between 1-2k, and I left with the same issue I came in with. After a over a year of multiple repairs for a stalling battery (stupidly continued going back because of a friend's referral), I tried A's.
