I lived at Artspace for five years and it was amazing! Clean, affordable and close to everything. Management cares deeply about our safety and never hesitated to call police the few times we needed to. It was great to drop off trash and pick up mail without having to leave the building. I was visiting one of the tenants in this building and was disappointed to see sexually explicit artwork displayed in a public area. Public spaces should be welcoming and appropriate for people of all ages, including children. While I respect artistic expression, I don’t believe this type of display belongs in a publicly accessible building.
They’re unable to repair their elevator for the last month. You only can imagine what else they slack on.
Kind of a cool place
They are raising rent and refusing to adjust rent for my lowered income. They refuse to let me, a single person living in a 2 bedroom, move into a more affordable 1 bedroom without a Dr's note. This is causing immense stress and health problems. My shower is in disrepair and needs new silicone. I have been notifying them of the damages and have written a repair request, months ago now, with no one fixing the problem.
