Wonderful Service!!! – I have a ring that I need to size and have gone to many jewelers only to be told that because it was enamelled it couldn't be done. I came in with my young son last week to have my ring sized. They sized my finger and assured me that they would be able to do it. I came in today to pick it up and not only had they sized it properly but had polished it also. I found the staff as very professional and experienced. and most of all I can now wear my ring.
Fabulous Jeweler in NYC – One of the few places that works on site. My friend dropped by 3 earrings to get them changed from clips to posts. The did a fabulous job. And within a day. She was very happy with the work. I have used them on many occasions fixing and designing jewelry. The are alway polite and make the extra effort to see that the customer is satisfied. Would never go anywhere else. Very experienced Jeweler.
Gem on the Westside – I have used this place many times over the years. They are very friendly and knowledgeable about Jewelry and Jewelry making. I just had a Diamond Ring made over the holidays and the whole team was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Ring came out beautifully and my wife is thrilled. I have also used Artiste many times to repair my watches my wife has used them to fix jewelry. Fantastice work! They have a great reputation and credibility on the Westside. Thanks.
A Wonderful Place -- My Favorite Jewelry Store – I am shocked by the other reviews for Artiste. I have now used Artiste as both a repair shop and to custom-make a spectacular engagement ring (if I do say so myself) and for our wedding bands. Nick and the rest of the team have been true gentlemen in working with us to meet our needs and have never been the slightest bit pushy. I would recommend Artiste to anyone who needed a little TLC when shopping for jewelry. Five Stars!
Horrible! – I went into have a new battery put into my Technomarine watch since they were listed as authorized sellers on the Technomarine site. I asked if they were authorized and they said yes. They brought my watch into the back. While they were "fixing" it they tried to get me to trade in my watch and "upgrade" to a new watch. I explained my watch had sentimental value and I wasn't interested. They returned my now "working" watch and I left. They switched out the chain! The are dishonest! – My fiance took a necklace to them which was stained from a red wine spill. They said it would take three or four days to clean and she came back in about a week. She picked up the necklace and did not try it on. When she did put it on a few days later, she noticed that the chain was far longer and of lower quality than what she had brought in. They are not honest jewelers. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!
Rude, Pushy, Lousy Selection – I went in to browse. The salesman acted like if I didn' buy something they would go out of business. He tried to sell me a diamond ring that seemed way overpriced. When I asked if the diamond certified he said all certificates contain bad information and I could trust him. It was very rare so it was very expensive. The diamond looked yellow and black. I'm never going back in there.
Stay away from the rude and mean salesman – I went to this shop to replace a my dive computer battery for a trip on Wednesday (which the store knew about). When I picked it up on Wednesday morning (delay due to special order of battery), they said they couldn't find the battery. Here's the watch. Don't worry about the $40 for opening the watch and trying to find the battery. I was frustrated since I was about to get on a plane for my scuba dive trip.
