Went today to get a pair of diamond earrings. Found some really beautifully made diamond earrings for my wife for Christmas. These guys have some really elegant designs. Not stuff you see in most stores. I have my eye on a sapphire bracelet I saw there. Maybe Valentines day.
Fast repair! – I like the staff; very proficient. I just waited 10 minutes for them to take out 2 links on my watch. While I was waiting, I asked them for any ideas on what would be a perfect gift for my wife on our anniversary, I was impressed because the guy thoroughly gave me insights on the jewelries. He talked in a general statement so I was not forced to buy from them. But definitely, I will be coming back. I would love him to recommend for a perfect gift for my wife.
Very Good! – Indeed, a fantastic place. My husband brought me to this store to buy an anniversary gift. The staff were very accommodating. They helped us choose from their best designs; we spent an hour trying to find the perfect jewelry but they were so patient. They even gave me insights on choosing a jewelry, and how to take care of it properly. It's definitely the one of the best in New York. They handle their customers the way they should be handled..
Wonderful Place for Fast Repairs! – Wonderful Place for fast repairs. One of the few jewelers that does work on the spot. They were very courteous although when I went in on a Saturday afternoon the store was packed with customers. I had to wait about 10 minutes for a battery change on my watch and to size the watch bracelet. Not bad for a store that seems to be doing pretty well.
Best Jewelry Shop in NY – Cutiee, artsy, craftsy, and simply the best place to spend my holiday shopping done with no hassle and worries out of the way!!! From formal to hippy jewelry with simply shades up to the out of this world colors, small, medium even up to the biggest form of jewelry. Name it! This place can give you anything at your own preference! You can honestly spend a day in this place and never get bored. I even spent an hour or two, on picking the best watch, I just got to many option
BAD PLACE. – I went in to this place to simply ask for a business card... I went in, there was only one person in here behind the counter, and I asked "Do you have a card?" and his immediate reply was "coming from" and I said "sorry?" he again replied with "coming from"... and I said, "a card, do you have a business card?" and he then walked away to get his business card, and as he was away I asked the customer that he was dealing with if he understood what the guy said and I said "did he say coming from?" Great Place for Quick Fixes – Just went in for sizing my watch. Very professional operation for the West side. No fuss, no pressure. I took my Rolex in to take out 3 links. They did the joby while I waited at a reasonable charge. Was very happy with the work and they seem to have a nice selection of watches and jewelry. I confess I don't know much about either but, it was a very pleasant atmosphere.
The Perfect Ring for the Perfect Woman – I just got engaged and my fiance loved the ring I got for her. The fine people of Artist Jewelers made this ring for me from MY design. It is one of a kind and most other jewelry places don't do this kind of work. It came out perfect. It was a large diamond that belonged to my Mom. We added some inlayed opals that they sourced and cut so they fit perfectly. Great Job! Thanks!
Ridiculous! – I have been to this jeweler to fix bracelets and necklaces and they are extremely overpriced. Today, I went in and asked if they could remove ONE link from my watch band and they wanted to charge me $25. This is really ridiculous, it takes ONE minute to do and they should've done it for free. I asked if they would negotiate, esp. since I am 6 months pregnant and didn't want to walk anywhere else ... they wouldn't budge. Very shameful and stingy! Definitely skip this place for quick fixes.

Artiste Jewelers response: My apologies you felt we charge too much for a Rolex watch bracelet adjustment. You said we should do it for free. Rolex seals their links with lock tight screws. Removing them is not a one minute job. Handling and servicing a Rolex watch professionally without damaging the watch takes years of experience, training and access to the proper tools.
