I feel very fortunate to have found the Arthritis Osteoporosis Treatment and Research Center and Dr. George Muñoz. I recently relocated to the Aventura area and, as an active cancer patient, needed to establish local rheumatology care, update my laboratory work and make sure my medications were being properly managed. I don’t know why this place has so many negative reviews! I had an amazing experience here. My appointment was at 9, they saw me at 8:50. The front desk lady was sweet and to the point- no bad attitude at all! The staff was extremely attentive and really sweet and funny. I was so nervous going in, and they made me feel right at home. The doctors I saw were also incredible! The lady doctor (I forget your name but I’ll update when I see it) was easy to talk to and took extensive notes. It took me a few weeks to get the nerve to leave this review. Absolutely the worst rheumatologist office I have ever been to. The girl who greets you first is rude in person and on the phone. The other girls are all great and very helpful, but she's the initial contact. I never get the same Dr to see me despite me asking to only see Dr Munoz. They kept scheduling me with a different Dr, nurse, or whatever practitioner was available. But every time that happened, I was treated like a new case. No one knew what the last person... read more
