Doctor Balbona initially diagnosed a condition I have that numerous specialists couldn't diagnose. He spends whatever time is necessary with his patients to ensure proper care and to answer all questions. I have now been his patient for 17 years.
My husband and I relocated to Jacksonville in early 2017. Due to a health emergency, Dr. Balbona's practice was recommended by a co-worker. I've never received such intentional care in an initial visit with prescribed follow-up. My husband and I both felt an immediate trust in Dr. Balbona's care because of his low-volume patient load, strategic long-term health planning, and passion for his work after decades of practice. There's a reason Jacksonville's leaders see him. He's worth your health.
SDr. Balbona and his entire staff are the most caring, efficient and professional office of any kind I have encountered. I have recommended him to many family members and friends.
Dr. Balbona is very interested in getting a complete picture of you as an individual. He spends the necessary time to answer all questions, allows patient to participate in the planned care. I feel very confident that I am receiving excellent medical staff. The office staff is the same level of quality.
I have been a patient since 2005. Thereis no stone unturned in his thoroughness of care. He takes excellent preventative care of my needs and has followed me through the development of diabetes and a diagnosis of cancer. Simply put, he is just the best! He is the epitome of professionalism in medicine and has the sincere caring that makes his patients feel that their health is his first priority.
I had my first visit today and I am SO pleased! He actually listened to me, was not in a rush, compassionate and put me at ease. I am very happy to have him as my Doctor.
I was looking for a primary care doctor as my last two had moved away. A good friend recommended him and I made an appointment. Dr. Balbona was just what I was looking for. Great communications, great bedside manner and a delightful staff and office environment. Even the billing was correct which is rare anymore.
I had my first visit with Dr. Balbona today and he was exactly what I was looking for in a doctor: personable, talks to you about what's going on in your life, explains what he's doing and explains his diagnosis and treatment in lay terms. I will definitely continue to see him and would recommend him to others. Also, the staff is very helpful and curteous.
Dr. Balbona is judgmental and condescending. Instead of asking questions, he jumps to conclusions and makes snarky comments. He may be knowledgeable but he is not caring or sympathetic. I have been a patient for many years but my last few appointments have been nothing less than a verbal beat down that I don't need or deserve.
