Dr Balbona is an Amazing Physician regarding his knowledge & the way in which he runs his practice. He supports his team to ensure all his patients are taken care of & seen, always in a timely manner. I don’t know what we would’ve done without him when my mother was so ill. Dr. Balbona is professional and provides excellent care. His office is well run. He listens to the patient and decides on appropriate treatment by using his education and years of experience. He's the best primary care physician I've had. This review is based by an individual who's career was in healthcare.
He takes the time to listen to patients and is an excellent diagnostician
Met him 23 years ago at Baptist. He became my primary care physician several weeks later. In my 75 years, I’ve never had a smarter and more caring physician.
Best PCP I have ever had. He is brilliant! I have been his patient for over 10 years and could not imagine going to anyone else.
The Doctor doesn't listen. He Doesn't explain either. He doesn't read his own file. He doesn't read tests that he had order, or that you bring from previous doctor. Most of the time he doesn't even exam the patient. He looks over confident and I think that opens the door for mistakes.
I have had some medical problems with my BP with it being so high that the nephrologist could do nothing to control it at all. I should have had a stroke more times than I can count. I was on meds 4 times a day that I had only had in the ER in the past. Dr. Balbona has it under control. He is most truly the best PCP I ever had. He listens and hears everything you say. Great - but it is always great. HE is the best doctor and his staff is wonderful. He gives me great confidence that he is doing the best he can possibly do for me each visit. He takes his time and doesnt rush you through. Ive been his patient since 1986. He is very, very good doctor.
