Done with this "doctor" My daughter has been going to this doctor for 12 years. Most of the time it has been quite satisfying outside of the loud, obnoxious and chaotic office and atmosphere, the staff "used" to be friendly, helpful, and professional. Kuddos to Dr. Folkestad. Dr. Folkestad is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I respect him so much that I have sent multiple people to him, Dr. Folkestad is very knowledgeable, always gives you all the facts, and never tries to force you into a procedure or test you are not comfortable with. His nurse Angie is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met, she always made me and everyone I have referred feel very comfortable, and his nurse practicioners are amoung the best out there. Bring a tent to the waiting room! Dr. Folkestad (when able to see him instead of his nurse practioner) was always cordial and reassuring. He is very positive and puts you at ease. The office and the way it it run however, has much to be desired. After driving from Buckeye some 45 min and then waiting 45 min to an hour in the waiting room, I felt very neglected. Great Doctor!!!!!!!!!! Dr Folkstead is a great docotor. He has been my doctor for over 10 years. He delevried my sisters last 2 children as well as my best friends last child. The wait is well worth it if you want soemone who really takes the time for your medical care. i would reccemend him to anyone.
Bradley Folkestad is one of a kind! I had one of the First Babies born at Arrowhead and with the one and only Dr. Flokstad that was 17 years ago he was wonderfull then and after 2 more childern I wont see anyone since. Now my Daughter is, too. He is very caring and will take the time that you need. I have never felt rushed so the wait has always been worth it.
Bradley Folkestad is an angel. I read a post before seeing Dr. Folkstad for the first time, that said he is often running behind but he is awesome. My first visit confirmed both. He may have run behind on appt. time, but what Dr. doesn't? Besides, he was delivering babies. I will say, he is the best Ob/Gyn I have ever had. He walked me through my first pregnancy will all my lists of questions (which probably made him late for his next patient) and he answered every question I ever had and then some. Less patients may I suggest?.... Dr. Folkestad has been my gynecologist for the past 9 years and he is definitely great at what he does. However, for the past three years I have had to see his nurse practitioner because he has been overbooked. Trust me I know delivering babies is probably more important than my yearly routine exams but I just feel that maybe he should take on less patients so that he can give all his patients the service they need. Can't imagine anyone else delivering my grandbabies I have had all 4 of my grandchildren by the honestly most caring, genuine, awesome ob/gyn...if I lived in Phx area he would have delivered all 6 of mine! Bradley Folkestad is AMAZING!! Dr. Folkestad & Angie are a dynamic duo! I was given his name from a friend & so GRATEFUL that I went. My previous OB handled my miscarriage through her nurse, never talked TO me, just AT me, & made me wait a WEEK to get the DNC I needed. Horrific experience.
