My psychiatrist has worked with me for the past 3 years and she has single handedly made my life easier and more manageable. Highly recommend this place!! (Also she has a women who’s learning that sits in on my appointments and she is so kind and very knowledgeable)
While the front desk was kind and the billing was handled efficiently, my experience with the therapist was concerning. My first appointment was canceled due to a "computer crash" after I'd already waited 13 minutes. I understand that technical issues can happen and that was not my primary concern. First, I have to say that the therapist that I see, Chelsea, is absolutely amazing and she has been so helpful. I feel like my mental health has gotten better since seeing her. Also, the woman at the front desk, Amanda, Is super sweet and helpful as well. My current issue is with the billing department.. Billing really messed up with my account. My nurse is great the billing person is rude and acts like she is above everything.she acts like I am wasting her time.
Long story short, this practice was not helpful in my daughter's medication management whatsoever. She was prescribed probably 5 different formulations of methylphenidate over a few months, most of which were not covered by insurance, all of which had no positive OR negative impact on my daughter at all. I understand apprehension to prescribe stimulants to children in the first place, what I don't understand is a preference to keep changing the same one over & over rather than try a different one.
