Dr Aronoff was VERY good to me. I’m a former patient only because I moved out of state. Ow if you want to try an BS your way with he WONT stand for it. He even gave me prescriptions for a month until I found another doctor. I did really care for his microphone and computer but ya deal with it. Being fair he can be a little rough…but get talking about his champion dog and he will loosen up and talk to you…Now don’t everyone do that. It might not work. Totally condescending and arrogant. My wife saw him and he would leave her crying with his intimidation. So I started going in. Like all bullies he backed down when confronted. You’ll sit in his office an exorbitant amount of time while he tries to figure out how to work his dictation software. Then you’ll be billed for an extended visit: Richard Cranium makes me think of the sound ducks make!

I saw Dr. Aronoff many years ago and have nothing but good things to say about him. He told me when life gives you lemons, learn to make lemonade! That is so true. If you can't help yourself, no one will do it for you. Because of him, I learned techniques to cope with my disabling spinal issues without medication. I was never addicted to pain meds because I couldn't take them as they didn't agree with me. He taught me relaxation exercises and coping skills that were very helpful. The staff was friendly and responsive to my questions and concerns. The office was clean and bright. Wait time was not as long as I expected from other reviews. The doctor spent most of the time talking to the computer with his microphone and the time in the office with him was too long. Overall the visit was not as bad as I expected. I think it would have gone better if the visit was faster and the doctor spoke to me instead of the computer.

I've never been treated as I was at Carolina Pain Associates. Of which Dr. Aronoff is the hateful, condescending, cowardly leader. He is outrageously judgemental and constantly needs to show his superiority to you. He isn't interested at all in helping you with your pain. He just wants to mock you because you have chronic pain and need help. He'll rant about how you need to take a smaller dosage, take your money and then send you on your way. I can't stress enough for someone who is looking for pain management to look somewhere else. Not only is the office disgusting but the staff is very unprofessional. I have had to go to a lot of Drs because of medical issues and never have I been in such a dirty negative environment. It's my first time experiencing a office that is "for the money". Never seen before but have now. Negative stars here.

This place is a chop shop. 99% of appts run hours long waiting, staff is rude and unprofessional, and practice is highly unorganized. Staff also turns over weekly, office is very run down, and they are only there for the money.

A very compassionate person. Always be up front with him and he will treat you with respect. I couldn't ask for a better dr.

He was very educated kind calm compassionate and very concerned about a clients needs, preventing addiction and treatment. If you are wanting to get better, it’s the place to be.
