Great dr. I feel in good hands with AGS. I had the new SIJ rod surgery and a L5 fusion. I feel so much better than a year ago, goodbye pills and injections! Thank you AGS and staff!
AGS is arrogant for sure, but I will say that he knows what he is doing. You must have a tough spine and not wear your heart on your sleeve or you can be you will leave pissed off. There is a difference between someone who is an **** and doesn't know what they are doing compared to an **** that DOES know what they are doing. AGS is the latter. I think the Dr. and his staff is extremely nice and helpful. Dr. Graham-Smith took the time to talk and explain everything to me and I had alot of questions. I go back on 2/22 for si joint injections and ct scans and see the dr in the same day since I am driving 2 1/2 hours to see him. He was very helpful in making that request to his staff for me. I trust his opion completely and me came highly recommended by Neuro Surgeon...who is the best in his field Dr. Eric Scott in Gainesville, Fl
Dr. Smith is phenominal, he is extremely thorough, has the best hospital staff I have ever seen, my diagnosis and tests were done immediately. After 11 yrs, my pain is finally gone. There is no other dr. that can come close.
One the best surgeons ever. I had an si joint surgery. I was looking at one of the comments on the person who wrote that two patients had killed themselves. The surgery is brutal and being that I am bipolar it was a concern but having the right team of support in place eased my mind. I could not have asked for a more brilliant doctor. Also being in the care of his partner Shannon they both have comforted me and have helped me through a difficult surgery. This doctor took care of my husband who had an L-1 fracture of the spine, he took excellent care of him and he is walking and in good health, thanks to this doctor.
10/11/10 I had recently consulted Dr AJ Smith after major lumbar surgery elsewhere due to extreme spasms in my sacroiliac joint. We spent 3 days in a hotel in Jacksonville for a 3-day test schedule as we lived across the state. He was pleasant thorough and knowledgeable After reading other reports of successful surgeries on this site they were apparently different then the SI Joint surgery I would need. Dr. Graham Smith is the best surgeon I have ever had. People say his bed side manner is poor, I thought it was great. He explained everything in great detail. He even took special care in scheduling my appts since I had to drive over an hour to get to him. The surgery went great. I would recommend him to any one. He would even take the time to call me at home so I wouldn't have to take that long drive to his office. He is very hard on the staff at the hospital.
