Arnie's Bar is Tulsa's premier Irish pub. The bar is named after its founder, Arnie Simmons, who opened the pub in 1956. The bar moved to its current location in 2000, which is historic in its own right. The building was once a Gulf gas station that was specifically built to attract drivers to fill up there. The building's distinctive blue dome remains to this day. Inside, Arnie's remains a great place to grab a traditional Irish brew and converse with some old or new friends.

Love this place! Smoky dive bar in the heart of the Blue Dome district. Owner Chris and the staff are great. Occasionally Europeans, Chinese and others doing the Route 66 road trip roll through - the adjacent Blue Dome was the first 24-hour gas station with amenities like "automatic" car wash until Route 66 shifted 9 streets south.

Great bar with a great staff and owners. I've never met a stranger at Arnie's. I always have a great time there. Small bar, big family.
