Was super excited to check out a nursery near me but had a weird experience with an older lady, the staff was noticeably kind to other patrons but she kind of acted weird around me and my boyfriend. I don’t want to assume it’s because of race but we were the only the non-white people there. Felt a lil unwelcome won’t be going back.
Conveniently located right off Hwy 5, and they have a great selection of healthy succulents, that do well in this climate. Leslie helped me order some succulents that are hard to find. Great service!

Best nursery in San Diego. I hate to disparage another business, but Armstrong is like 30% cheaper than Terra Bella. They often have deals, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a great selection of plants. I have bought indoor plants, outdoor flowers, all sorts of gardening accountrements, and just this last time- a beautiful 50%-off Japanese maple tree. Love Armstrong.
