Not Impressed! – I decided to venture in to Armis Salon after the prices at several other salons I frequented kept going up and after reading all the excellent reviews here on City Search. Big mistake. The first warning sign should have been that my appointment was at 11:30am on a Saturday...and I was the only one there! At every salon I've ever been to there are always at least 3-7 stylists booked throughout the day. At Armis you could hear crickets. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE – What a great experience at Armis' Salon...Armis gives an absolute great cut. I went the 1st time for just a cut and was very pleased. The second time Armis did highlights and the cut..it's just great. Menopause has done a hormonal number on my hair and it's been thinning on the top :-(...Armis did a great job of listening to my concerns to help me come up w/a sassy, cut..and great color. Best haircut I've gotten in my 3 years in Charlotte! – Being new to the area when I moved to Charlotte 3 years ago, I had to rely on word of mouth to find a new hairdresser. I tried 3 or 4 other places and was only somewhat satisfied. The cut and style was just so-so, the people weren't interested in getting to know you (you were just a body in the chair), and at some places, there was so much turnover that you hardly ever got to see the same person! Love Love Love My Hair – I absolutely love my hair after having it done by Armis. I was so nervous to go somewhere new since I have had the same person do my hair for 8 yrs. It was such a wonderful and relaxing experience I cannot wait to go back. She is so friendly and out going I felt like I had known her for a long time. Relieved & Excited! – Armis has been cutting & coloring my hair for several years and love the flattering cut & natural color she chooses for me. Best Hair cut in Town – Armis gives a quality hair cut like no other. I've moved to Charlotte from the North and have tried lots of salons before going to see Armis. Excellent!!!!!! – I have been able to have Armis do my hair for a long time and I found out that she opened her own salon. I was just there the other day and I loved it. Armis did such a great job on my hair. I had dyed it myself back in November and that was a big mistake. Armis fix my hair and did a full highlight. I love my hair. A Ballantyne Treasure – I've lived in Ballantyne for 16 years and wish I had found Armis a long time ago. I came in after my regular stylist at a well-known salon moved and I saw a junior stylist there. One of the worst haircuts I've ever had later I found my way to Armis. I was very pleased with the color (full foil the first time) and second visit (partial & cut). She also offers money saving coupons, 30% off the 1st visit & 20% second, which came in handy.
