I cannot say enough good things about this man. Skilled surgeon, humanitarian, great communicator, and has a bedside manner and sense of humor that few possess. Guided me through one of the most difficult periods of my life, both physically and mentally, and got me back to a place where I never thought I would be again. I talked to him about my previous pet scan and he couldn't see it online at Kaiser system, but he listened to me and look for the report online and found it. Also, he spoke to Oncology doctor who was on call to get me cleared to go through surgery. It was my first surgery and I didn’t know what to expect. Wondering ! I went to this doctor for second opinion within the same facility. He was rude in considered and I received a quick exam that I was not told prior would be part Of my “consultation “. Frankly, I was humiliated, likely it was intended.
Dr. Aboulian is a God send. My mother had a nasty, cancerous growth in her colon that was about the size of a golf ball. Aboulian was all business and very direct about the diagnosis and treatment— determined to provide the best possible care. He performed surgery and was amazingly able to remove the tumor laparoscopically. This allowed for a quick recovery, and just three days after the surgery she’s back home! Aboulian was very proud of his performance, and rightfully so— He saved her life!
This is a very caring Doctor in all respects. If he has a bit of spare time he will willingly spend it with you if needed. Rare find.
Amazing doctor, will listen to you and take care of you. On the morning of 07/19 I woke up to this stabbing and painful sensation in my lower abs. The pain kept getting worse, and I finally decided to go to the dr the same day. After my blood tests and catscan I went back to see Dr. Aboulian, and he strongly adviced that we do the surgery same day within the hour, before the appendix gets even worse and possibly ruptures. He is not only a great Dr. but also a great person! Highly recommended!
