Used to be incredible and affordable for Greater Boston. New management raised the rents high and does disruptive maintenence without notice, such as removing porch lights (three weeks and still no replacement), and constant loud lawn care early in the morning. The lawn thing may be good if you're into that kind of thing, but I really couldn't care less if the grass is longer than a half-inch. It makes the dirt show more too. The woman with the black dog who lives at 73 varnum street in Arlington was caught by my neighbor spraying two different dogs at the same house on two different occasions, she should be evicted.
I love this place. I love the management and the maintenance crew. They have always been upfront and honest with expectations, but also very fair with their treatment of tenants. Also very on top of anything that requires maintenance. This place is a rare gem in the Boston area.
We lived there for more than 5 years and we just moved because we had to leave the state. the maintenance and manager are very nice and caring. the price is very affordable though other apartments in Arlington are so expensive. we loved our neighbors and it is a very kid friendly place.
