Saturday reflections....Never underestimate: the first sip of water after surgery, ahh refreshment to the soul, a walker when you need it.. the kindness of a doctor, a nurse, a tech, an anesthesiologist, the hospitalist, a physical therapist... all the folks you come in contact with at the hospital who come into your life at just the right moment. I had back surgery yesterday, sent home today. I have to say most of the staff is VERY friendly and professional. I would like to take the time to thank the Nurses that checked up on me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time I was there. And a big thank you to Dr. Thomas for fixing me! Karen at the check in desk needs her attitude checked.. but other than her everyone was great.
I had my neck operated on by Dr Shahim an he an his whole team were amazing . The room was so comfortable an I felt like I was at home . Best place to get operates on for sure !
The doctors and staff are wonderful,been there twice and both times couldn't ask for better hospital, you can tell they care about their patients and are there when you need help, Rating this hospital is a 10, very clean facility, I recommend to anyone,no complaints from me,Keep up good work and thanks for calling and checking on me when I got home.
I remember when I used to work for Arkansas Surgical Hospital in NLR (predominantly white staff) along side my dad and there was a situation where everyone (White staff) was going around the O.R. sharing pics and memes of black people in trash cans eating watermelon, black babies being used as Alligator bait and just all types of racist things!
