How is it possible that our medical cannabis program, which falls under your department, has had product available to patients for one week now and you dont have a single post on your Facebook page about it? And why are you issuing MM cards using substandard paper and telling patients that they cant laminate their own cards even though the printed information is rubbing off of them almost immediately and you're charging $50 to get a replacement card? I believe many people will be making this request & would like some idea of how long it will take for their requests to be honored. Absolutely unbelievable how women seeking midwifery care are treated. An absolute violation of human rights!
Having policies that essentially force women to have unassisted births at home does not promote health. See the Arkansas Online article "State protocol on births at home raises ire; exam rule snarls midwives, clients"
I'm very disappointed in the lack of support for women to make choices regarding their prenatal care. Requiring midwives to drop clients is no guarantee they will get care elsewhere.
