I saw Dr Joshi for a surgical consult on a thyroid cancer. He was absolutely phenomenal - he firstly got his own ultrasound and looked at the entire situation himself along with the reports I had sent to verify the situation. Then he gave me all the options I had, showed me the positives and negatives and then helped come to a choice as well. His team was amazing (Lauren, Ingrid from office as well as the team at GWC. Everybody from the anaesthesia to the post op was phenomenal. My surgery went very well in Dr Joshi’s hands ... read more
During several months of treatment for cancer, I had several visits with Dr. Joshi. This doctor is extremely arrogant; he looks the patient down and has no 'bedside etiquette. On my last visit for an endoscopy, the nurse showed up and put some anesthetic in my nose. I was left there for more than half an hour. By the time Dr. Joshi showed up the anesthetic had worn out and the camera going down my nose was hurting. Dr. Joshi started yelling at me and telling me to band and sit still. A few months later, I had a letter from M... read more
I approached Dr. Joshi to treat me for papillary thyroid cancer based on his education and experience. He was very systematic in his approach and performed surgery only after ruling out all other options. I was scared of the potential risks of the surgery but I am recovering well. Dr. Joshi is an excellent surgeon and I highly recommend him.
I recently was treated by Doctor Arjun Joshi for a thyroglossal duct cyst that had become infected. I had first visited another ENT group in the greater Washington area who treated the cyst with antibiotics to stop the infection and swelling, but they were recommending surgery to remove the cyst to prevent reoccurrence of infections. Due to the cysts position the doctor was suggested I contact Dr Joshi for a consult on the cyst and I am very glad I did. Dr Joshi however recommended that I first consider something called Scle... read more
Assessed my condition quickly but also too additional precautions to make sure the diagnosis is correct
I personally recommend him highly. He removed a stone in my salivary duct. He is extremely knowledgeable, warm, friendly, put me a ease. Explained the procedure, answered my questions, and looked @ me when he was talking to me. A lot of doctors don't do that. I was expecting the worse, not so! Need an expert, go see him. Had to make the trip from to his washington, DC office, worth the trip!
If you found Dr. Joshi you found the right doctor. I picked him as my head and neck surgeon after researching and meeting with other specialists. I had a pleomorphic adenoma (tumor in my parotid salivary gland) it was benign but had to come out. Without a doubt he knew what he was doing. I'm a month post-op and feeling great!
