This Inner Sunset neighborhood co-op, affiliated with Berkeley's Cheese Board, just may ruin you for any other bakery. They bake a wide range of breads, with a whole list of specials every day. They turn out specialty scones and muffins all baked with tender loving care. Kids love the crispy and cheesy bread sticks. If it's more than just a snack you're looking for, join the throngs filing in from the far reaches of the city for a slice or four of Arizmendi's famous pizza. They top each one with a different combination of th... read more

I like it in here, they have a great place, spacious and very quiet. They always have fresh bread in here, ready for pick up and I think they also do some delivery.
This is really a good place to be in the morning, the smell alone is enough to pick you right up, and I just love the smell of good baking in the morning.
The breads in here are wonderful, really, I tried almost all of them and they just keep on coming up with lots of different kinds if bread every week.
A great thing about this place is that they have good bread every time of the day. I always go here and get all the dinner rolls I could get.
How Often Do You Blindly Eat Pizza – Arizmendi Pizza combines the best of bread - a sourdoughy crust - with the best of pizza - always amazing combinations, always vegetarian, combining interesting veges of the season into a pizza pie everyone loves. The stuff of fantasies.
Citysearch Editorial Review – In a city overflowing with cafes and bakeries, this Inner Sunset co-op is among the best of the best--with the lines of hungry customers to prove it. Perhaps because the tiny, mostly take-out neighborhood bakery is worker-owned, there's a palpable sense of care and customer service that's almost a throwback to times past, where employees know regulars' names and treat even the purchase of a single scone with smiles. Each day brings a new batch of baked goods--some breakfast-y items like bran muf... read more
Best bakery in San Francisco!! – This is hands-down my favorite bakery in San Francisco. The breads and pastries are delicious and fresh, and never sickeningly sweet or heavy. The pumpkin muffin, corn-cherry scone, brioche knot, and pecan roll are my favorites. It's almost unbelievable - every single thing they make is good! The thin-crust pizza is very tasty, light and not too cheesy - it can be a little on the oily side however. Arizmendi is usually crowded and the seats are all taken, and parking is pretty bad - still, th... read more
Great baked goods and pizza! – Arizmendi is the best bakery in the area. Their scones, muffins, and cookies are delicious, but make sure to try their pizza above all else! The staff of this co-op is friendly and helpful.
Bakery goods are made on the premises – I live in the neighborhood but yesterday was my first time into Arizmendi. The breads and pastries are all fresh and I ended up buying over $30 worth of goods. I recommend the bakery for their tasty goods. However, I took off a lot of points because the checkout clerk became so surly when I, in my ignorance, set all the bags full of goods I wanted to buy on the counter all at once instead of one at time--I was supposed to put just one bag on the counter, wait while she weighed, rang up... read more
