I’d like to bring attention to a recurring noise issue that has been affecting the community. Each early morning — typically around 8 a.m. — a dog in the neighborhood begins barking loudly and persistently. The barking is deep and resonant, so it’s likely a larger dog. I’ve really enjoyed my experience here so far, though I do think there’s some room for improvement. One example is the weekly leaf blower service provided by the third-party contractor. The current gas-powered equipment creates extremely loud noise and a strong gasoline smell, which many residents (myself included) find very unpleasant. Since a lot of people work from home or have night shifts, this can be particularly disruptive.
