Dr Palanca is very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain my the X-ray results and surgery. She’s kind and remained professional and patient.
Could not have asked for a better ortho MD ! I hobbled into Dr. Palanca’s office with excruciating ankle pain that my general practitioner couldn’t diagnose . Dr Palanca listened , took her time , ordered additional xray views and quickly diagnosed a fracture . She was patient and decided that we should wait and see how I healed in a boot , over time . I appreciated her conservative approach not rushing into surgery- I healed beautifully . I highly recommend her and her entire staff .
Can’t say enough good things! Dr. Palanca is knowledgeable, polite and thorough (also fluent in Spanish.) I was able to get an appointment for a hand injury within the week. When I came in, they directed me to their imaging area and I was able to get an X-ray in office! (Very happy to not have to wait to get a referral elsewhere and extend the amount of steps to get a diagnosis) I was seen promptly by Dr. Palanca who listened and validated my concerns about my broken thumb regarding potential surgery. Dr, Palanka performed a surgery for not one but both feet. I would like to share what an amazing job that Dr. Palanka did. This starts with her office, her assistant Matt, scheduling coordinator Theresa, they are all caring, kind but most of all patient. As far has the Out Patient Surgery team they are all, patient, kind and truly care for your well being. The anesthesiologist Dr.Richie was truly amazing. I found dr Palanca to be very short, curt, & overall dismissive of my pain. My exam lasted all of maybe 10 min and she gave me a cortisol shot & off she sent me. I had told her my foot pain was getting to be unbearable & that it was affecting my everyday life. She didn’t inquire further at all. I can’t even walk my dog and I’ve gained weight because it hurts to be on my foot to do anything. By the end of the day I was limping and barely able to get around.
