I bummed up my ankle 1/24/16, ended up with 3 plates and 12 screws under care of Dr. Kaz & ILBJ team. 1 year later my only discomfort is occasional stiffness in the morning which is easily walked off. This was a painful injury, surgery, recovery and rehab. Dr. Kaz was straightforward with my type of injury from the start letting me know I needed to do my part.

I was referred to Dr. Kaz after another doctor botched my foot surgery. Dr. Kaz took the time to explain what he was going to do and my restrictions. He was extremely detailed. I can now get a shoe on my foot! Thank you Dr. Kaz!

Dr. Kaz was a source of comfort and reassurance during a time when I needed it most. His surgical ability and his medical insight were immpecable allowing for me to have a speedy recovery in a situation where the recovery time could have been lengthy. Additionally, his bedside manner and attentiveness were a huge plus!

Dr. Kaz is the man, ladies and gentlemen. 4 Main Reasons: 1) I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes every time. Could not have waited more than 5 at any given moment. Absolutely unheard of in the going-to-the-doctor industry. 2) I had a rare foot injury which I sustained while partying. He gave the extra effort and got consultations from peers and mentors to share with me before we made a decision on what to do. 3) I just went on a 30 minute run before writing this.

I had severe pain in my left foot when walking from Morton's neuroma and a bunion. I was seeking treatment from a podiatrist that only masked the pain. I was then referred to Dr. Kaz and scheduled an appointment. I immediately knew that I made the right decision after he evaluated my foot and discussed my options in detail with me. It has been 4 months since my surgery and I am able to walk to/from work everyday and up to 8 miles on weekends pain free. I am so grateful and happy!

I had a triple ankle fracture while skiing in Colorado. The local emergency center stabilized me just so I can get back to Chicago. That was on Friday. Dr. Kaz, who came strongly recommended, was able to see me as early as Monday. After doing an X-ray, he scheduled the surgery for Tuesday at Swedish Covenant hospital. The surgery went well - so well, in fact, that I often forget what my ankle has been through. It's been over two years and my ankle is doing great. Thank you, Dr. Kaz!
