Delicious food in a no nonsense setting No frills here but the best fish and chips and now more in menu I grew up in places like this and it feels like home It is a BYOB if u are interested

I've been going to their booth at the Capital District Scottish Games in Altamont, NY for years and learned the hard way, go early. Their Fish 'n Chips are so delicious they alwas sell out early!

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a child. I was born at West Hudson Hospital many years ago, and when I was a teenager moved to Pennsylvania. When I do get back up to Kearny, I always go to the Argyle. The fish and chips are fantastic! The waitstaff is always friendly.
