The Argonaut needs to change back to a Kimpton, I had reservations this weekend and tried to change them but got the run around from reservations. I finally called the hotel directly and just cancelled my reservations and even had a hard time with the front desk. Amazing I would get this treatment considering my dad is under Hospice care and that's why I needed to change my reservation. I would not have been treated this way if the hotel was owned by Kimpton. Shame on you Argonaut.

Really cute nautical theme. Stayed here for one night for business trip. Was given letter on arrival that construction taking place from 9-5. After a long day arrived after those hours to what I thought would be restful Sleep and there was Jackhammering and banging till 10 pm! Never again!

Stayed at the Argonaut twice and loved it each time.. Very family friendly , brilliant staff and amazing doormen ( taught my son some brilliant dance moves) .. Highly recommended and plan visiting again from the soon
The Argonaut was not as impressive or upscale as our last visit in 2008. No more complimentary daily happy hour for guests in the lobby, which we considered a real standout in customer service on our previous visit. While the room was clean & the staff was friendly, there really wasn't that "wow" factor that we expected with our return last week.
